W.A. Klinger finished construction of Cargill's new soy co-process addition one full month ahead of similar projects at other Cargill locations. Structural steel for the project was detailed and fabricated in seven weeks time to allow the equipment to be set as it arrived. The rapid fabrication and construction schedule were required due to the space restrictions that this project entailed. The new facility is wedged between two existing buildings. Also, the addition's construction required Klinger personnel to work around rooftop switchgear and an 8' gas main that could not be relocated.
