PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description

The Project Manager will organize, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the construction projects assigned.  Travel to the jobsite from time to time is required.

General Responsibilities

  • Manage safety, quality, scheduling, estimating, and costs of construction projects of various sizes and complexity.
  • Define a project's scope of work, budget, and schedules.
  • Create and manage subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between clients, architects, engineers, superintendents, and other construction specialists.
  • Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
  • Research new products, equipment, methods, procedures, vendors, etc.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

  • Construction document comprehension.

Education & Experience

PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Description

The Project Engineer will assist Project Managers to facilitate the management and completion of large construction projects and progress into leading and managing smaller projects with Project Manager guidance.  Travel to the jobsite from time to time is required.

General Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and represent communication between team members.
  • Assist in defining a project's scope of work and budgeting the costs.
  • Perform material takeoffs from plan documents and assist with assembling project estimates.
  • Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor and material supplier bids and drafting subcontracts.
  • Assist in developing the project schedule and monitor and update it throughout the project ensuring schedule milestones are maintained.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Receive, review, and distribute project submittals and requests for information.
  • Organize project documentation, such as project drawings and specifications, field directives, and other change management documents.
  • Assist with project punchlist and other closeout activities.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
