W.A. Klinger was selected by competitive bid to construct this regional cancer treatment center, which is owned jointly by the two Sioux City hospitals. The 34,000 square-foot facility includes 20 chemotherapy treatment areas, two linear accelerator rooms for radiation therapy, 12 exam rooms, an x-ray room, and laboratory.

The Klinger team made the concrete walls and roof of the linear accelerator treatment rooms over six-feet  thick. The exterior features an attractive combination of brick, tinted glass,  and a unique metal panel system.
